Sea / Air is an inter-modal freight product using Dubai, Seoul, Singapore or Vancouver as hub to move cargo from Hong Kong and China to Europe, the United States of America and Canada. Because the second leg is by Air freight, cargo can be flown close to the final destination, saving cost on the final delivery. Compared to pure Ocean freight, the transit time is cut by roughly 70% and the cost saving is around 30% compared to pure Air freight. It also serves as a backup for congested periods when Air freight space is hard to get.
